So here we are 97 days into the Million Dollar Savings Club. Christmas is fast approaching. Isn’t it nice to have some savings stashed away? If you’ve been playing along then you’ve probably got $97 to just give-away from your give-away pile. Why not unload some of that money to help with Christmas gifts?
Most people will spend $791.10 on Christmas gifts this year. Most of them will use credit cards because they don’t have a savings account. They’ll be paying for this year’s Christmas next year and the year after that. Eventually they’ll refinance their home to pay off the credit cards. They’ll end their lives flat broke. Don’t be like most people. Don’t turn to credit cards this holiday season. Try to spend only what you have cash for. (more…)
