We’ve been working away at the Million Dollar Savings Club since August.  With a New Year approaching it’s a great time to set some serious money saving goals.  Personally, I love the New Year. It’s a time to start over with a clean slate.

For everyone in the Million Dollar Savings Club, I’d like you to choose 1 of 3 savings goals:

Savings Goals for 2007:

Bronze - $1,300.00 – You will set up your automatic savings account to take $25 per week from your checking account. This is $3.57 per day, about the price of a Star Bucks Coffee.

Silver - $2,600.00 – You will set up your automatic savings account to take $50 per week from your checking account.  This is $7.15 per day.  Can you give up smoking and Star Bucks Coffee?  I am going to be a silver level member.

Gold - $5,200.00 — You will set up your automatic savings account to take $100 per week from your checking account.  This is $14.28 per day.  It’s not an impossible commitment, but certainly would be a stretch for most people just getting started.  Consider how great it would feel to have an extra $5,000 this time next year.

Now, we’re not counting interest you’ll get from these accounts.  So by this time next year we will actually have more money than I’ve shown above.  For example, on Level Three, you’ll get about $25/month in interested paid to you.  That’s free money you can do anything you want with.
