Today is just another day. Or is it?
Picture this…
You step into your car for quick trip to the corner store, just as you have a hundred times before. As you turn the key something’s different. Your car doesn’t start. First you check the gas gauge. It’s full. The battery seems to be working too. You frantically turn the key over and over. The engine turns away, but no life. Eventually the battery dies. Now what?
Do you have enough room left on your charge cards to cover the towing? How much will that cost? What if warranty won’t cover the repair? Do you still have a warranty? What will you do if you don’t have your car back tomorrow? Can you get to work?
Certainly this would be easier to take if you had $3,000 in the bank. $3,000 set aside waiting to save you from just such an emergency.
Don’t have it? Then you’ve got a big problem.
