Stock Market: Buying My Last Share of IVV Today

zecco.gifAfter Friday’s big market panic I couldn’t resist the temptation to buy my last share of IVV.  Today’s price was $146.38.  Now if I would have only bought one share of IVV at 151 instead of two.  Oh well.  Hindsight is 20/20.  Especially when it comes to the stock market.

Here’s the order I placed through my free Stock Trading account:

My guess is Friday’s sell off was a panic.  I think the market is about where it should be for this time of year, so I’ve got all my money in it.

How much money are we talking anyway?

For those you just starting to read along, I took $500.00 out of my Million Dollar Savings Club money to learn how to invest in the stock market. I’ve invested $450.00 of it in a S&P 500 index fund called IVV.  I chose this fund because I watch the S&P market all day long through my Google Home Page.  I think I have a pretty good feeling on how the market performs.

My Simple Strategy:  When the market has a big sell off buy IVV.  As the Market recovers, sell it.  In other words, buy low sell High!

Disclaimer: I’m not a professional stock trader, nor do I claim to be. I’m just telling you what I’m doing. I’m not giving investing advice. You can watch along as I loose all my money or make millions. We shall see.
