Filed under: Uncategorized, Blog Carnival — bryan_fleming @ 11:50 am
retirement.jpgI wanted the 50th Personal Growth Carnival edition to be the biggest one yet.  Well I got my wish.We have a record shattering 95 articles. There were actually quite a few more, but I didn’t include them because they seemed like spam to me.  So congratulations to all the authors.

I haven’t been writing a lot lately because I’ve been focused on other things.  If you’re a blogger who writes about Finance or Personal Growth why not be featured on this blog?  You can do so by just dropping me an email.  If your article is good, I’ll post it on my blog.  You’ll get more exposure and my readers will enjoy some good writing. Everyone wins!

Enjoy the carnival.  It’s been a long journey.

Personal Growth Carnival - MEGA Edition

Filed under: Uncategorized, Blog Carnival — bryan_fleming @ 2:31 pm

blogcarnival.jpgWow.  I don’t know what happened this week, but we had 64 submissions to the personal growth carnival.  That’s a new record I might add.

It seems some authors submitted a bunch of stories, so I only included what I thought was their best one.  This dropped the number of submissions a little, but there is still a LOT of articles this week.  Thank you to everyone who submitted.  Enjoy the carnival.

Carnival of Money Stories

onemillion1.jpgEarlier this Month Andy over at the Carnival of Money Stories asked if I’d host an edition of the Carnival.

As most of you know I always host the Personal Growth Carnival, so I figured why not.  Well today is that day.  As promised here is the carnival of Money Stories.

I’ve been playing the stock market lately and watching it go down.  As it goes down I’ve been buying more stock.  Naturally I found WBL’s article on Why Getting A Home Loan Might Become More Difficult extremely interesting.  His article gets my “must read” of the carnival.  I really think what he’s saying is true.  Getting home loans has been too easy for people.  Now we’re starting to pay for it- with bad loans and foreclosures.  But you must read his article.

That’s not to say the other submissions weren’t any good (far from it), it’s just that WBL’s article really caught my eye.

Here’s the carnival.  If you read a good article, please drop a comment about it below.  That way other readers will read it too.

Enjoy: (more…)
